Polarimeter Kruss P3000
Instrument description:
This digital, fully automated polarimeter allows you to measure the rotation of the plane of polarized light as it passes through a solution of optically active substance with an accuracy of up to ±0.01°.
Key Features:
- measurements are fully automatic and very fast; the result is readable within a second
- also suitable for measuring substances with low light transmission up to an optical density of 3.0 OD
- measurements of solutions can be carried out in tubes with a length of 10 cm (with volumes of 1 ml or 6 ml) and a length of 20 cm (with a volume of 12 ml)
- results can be read in units of angle of repose or in the ICUMSA sugar scale (°Z)
- reliable temperature compensation allows measurement at any temperature and obtains a value converted to 20 °C
- measurement accuracy to 2 decimal places, excellent measurement reproducibility
- Measurement range: ±90° (±259°Z); Resolution: ±0.01°, (±0.01°Z); Accuracy: ±0.01°, (±0.01°Z); Light source: 589 nm filter LED
