Project Title: Support for the Implementation of the Radiological Assistance Study Program at the Faculty of Technology, Tomas Bata University in Zlín

About the Project:
The project aims to ensure the conditions for the high-quality implementation of the newly accredited Radiological Assistance study program at the Faculty of Technology, Tomas Bata University in Zlín. Financial support enables the development of the necessary personnel and material infrastructure for the program, including the involvement of experts from healthcare facilities in the Zlín Region and the acquisition of specialized equipment and software for teaching.
The program addresses the acute shortage of radiology assistants that the region has long faced and prepares graduates for immediate employment in outpatient and inpatient facilities in the fields of radiodiagnostics, radiotherapy, radiation oncology, and nuclear medicine. The unique integration of technical and clinical competencies within the Faculty of Technology will contribute to strengthening healthcare capacity and the sustainable development of the healthcare sector in the Zlín Region.

About the Project:
The project aims to support students in doctoral programs and facilitate their transition to postdoctoral positions.

Project objectives:
a) retaining highly qualified individuals in the Zlín Region by creating stable conditions for their studies and subsequent transition to academic positions,
b) attracting highly qualified individuals to the Zlín Region by creating stable conditions for them to begin their academic careers,
c) to develop the existing knowledge base used in teaching, research, and development within the current study programs offered at TBU in Zlín,
d) the gradual development of the knowledge potential necessary for the accreditation of new study programs at TBU in Zlín in areas strategic for the Zlín Region, particularly in programs defined by the Regional Innovation Strategy of the Zlín Region (RIS) and in the fields of healthcare, biomedicine, and non-medical healthcare programs,
e) enhancing the knowledge base and potential of the Zlín Region by ensuring a highly qualified workforce with innovative potential.
