Leona Buňková | 2023-1-SK01-KA220-HED-000160349 | 2023 – 2025
About the project: | |||
AGROBIOTECH+ project aims to help students make a smooth transition from academia to the agro-biotechnology industry by providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed. To achieve this, the project will incorporate innovative learning and teaching practices and Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach will be used to develop a designing career plan training program, success storıes video tutorials, handbook for career planning.

Project Title: Remineralization of recycled/mined water by using Lunar/Martian regolith and carbon dioxide
Project Investigator: | Reg. number | Duration of the project
Josef ŘEZNÍČEK, Vratislav BEDNAŘÍK | IDEA: I-2023-09377 | 2024-2025
About the project: | |||
The aim of the project is to investigate the possible use of lunar/Martian regolith to treat water found on the Moon and other celestial bodies. This may be contaminated with undesirable constituents and would need to be distilled or otherwise purified, which would likely result in demineralised/distilled water unsuitable for long-term human consumption. Re-mineralised water could then become a primary or backup source for off-world drinking water production.

Project Title: Antimicrobial properties of materials intended for the preparation of ecologically sustainable food packaging
Project Investigator: | Number of Action: | Duration of the project
Magda Janalíková | COST Action CA19124 | 2020 – 2023
About the project: | |||
The project was focused on the clarification of antimicrobial properties of material for preparation of ecologically sustainable food packaging in form of thin polymer films and nanofibrous layers. The food packaging materials will be enriched by natural antimicrobial agents which inhibits the growth of microorganisms on food surfaces and increases their shelf life.

Project Title: Strategies of circular Economy and Advanced bio-based solutions to keep our Lands and seas alIVE from plastics contamination
Project Investigator: | Reg. number | Duration of the project
Marek Koutný | 862910 | 2019 – 2024
About the project: | |||
SEALIVE (Strategies of circular Economy and Advanced bio-based solutions to keep our Lands and seas alIVE from plastics contamination) is a European innovation project, funded through Horizon 2020, that will bring advanced bio-based plastic solutions to the market, providing viable alternatives to single-use plastics. SEALIVE will reduce plastic waste and contamination on land and in seas by boosting the use of biomaterials and contributing to the circular economy with cohesive bio-plastic strategies.
