About the Department

Dynamic foam analyzer Krüss DFA100

Description:
The device is used to determine the degree and quality of foam formation in pure solutions of surfactants, detergents, and cosmetic formulations.
The principle is based on controlled gas bubbling through a liquid column, where the detector measures the height of the generated foam, its stability, structure, and the amount of liquid contained within it.

Properties:
Airflow rate: 0.2 L∙min⁻¹ to 1.0 L∙min⁻¹.
Minimum sample volume: 40 mL for a 40 mm column.
Temperature range for a thermostated column: 4 °C to 90 °C.
Filter material: Glass frit with various porosities or filter paper with specified pore sizes.
