Cone calorimetre 1+ FTT
A cone calorimeter is an instrument designed to study the behaviour of materials in fire in real time and is capable of determining parameters such as flash point, heat release rate, mass loss and other properties related to combustion characteristics. The principle is to monitor the amount of heat released during the combustion process, which is directly related to oxygen consumption. The amount of heat generated is then directly proportional to the intensity of combustion.
Key features:
- Analysis of oxygen consumption and CO2, CO
- Monitoring of smoke evolution
- Heating element with 5 kW at 230 V and heat output up to 100 kW/m2
- Sample size 100 x 100 mm with a maximum thickness of 50 mm
- ConeCalc software
