Flash DSC Mettler Toledo
Flash DSC is a device that enables measurements in the field of rapid thermal changes of materials. Exceptionally fast heating and cooling provide opportunities to investigate thermally induced physical transitions and chemical processes. The use of high heating rates allows the analysis of materials without the influence of reorganization processes, as these processes do not have time to take place. It also allows the kinetics of crystallization to be measured. These processes cannot be measured with conventional DSC equipment.
Key features:
- Temperature range: -80 to 500 °C.
- Cooling from -6 K/min to 240,000 K/min.
- Heating 30 K/min to 2,400,000 K/min
- STAR software evaluation
- Sample is placed directly on the MultiSTAR sensor
