Project Title: Modernization of Infrastructure and Improved Academic Tools

About the project:
The project is aimed at supporting the development of bachelor’s, master’s, further master’s and doctoral study programmes at UTB in Zlín. The main objective is to support the academic success of students at all levels of study through the acquisition of new or modernisation of existing infrastructure. It will also include the reconstruction and equipping of premises necessary for successful internationalisation (Welcome Centre) and the Job Centre of UTB in Zlín. The acquisition of equipment necessary for training of UTB Zlín staff will also be implemented.

Project Title: Support and comprehensive development of the quality of education at TBU in Zlín

About the project:
The main objective of the project is to comprehensively increase the quality of education at UTB in Zlín by developing the competencies of UTB in Zlín staff, developing work with students, including support for students with specific needs and support for prospective students, developing study programmes through digitalization, developing internationalization, all while developing the strategic management of the institution.

Project Title: Development of Adequate Infrastructure for Doctoral Study Programmes at TBU in Zlín (RADOST)

About the project:
The project is aimed at supporting the development of doctoral study programmes (DSP) implemented at UTB in Zlín. In the course of the project implementation, modern instrumentation will be acquired and the DSP will be equipped with audiovisual and computer technology, interior, etc. At selected units of the UTB in Zlín (Faculty of Management and Economics, Faculty of Applied Informatics), reconstruction of premises allocated for teaching of DSP students or for research carried out by DSP students will also be carried out.

Project Title: Promoting green skills and sustainability at TBU in Zlín

About the project:
The project aims to support the development of a new curriculum, the revision of existing curricula and the creation of new lifelong learning courses in the field of green transformation and sustainability, so that current and future students and lifelong learners acquire the knowledge necessary for a more sustainable way of life, gain the skills needed in a changing labour market and take active steps to ensure a sustainable future.

Project Title: ADAPT UTB project: Adaptable, Digital, Agile, Progressive, Transformation of TBU in Zlín

About the project:
The project focuses on the transformation of UTB in line with the priorities of the NPO. This transformation includes increasing its adaptability and agility in the face of the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and trends related to the long-term transformation of the labour market in the Czech Republic – the advent of Industry 4.0 and its social context.

Project Title: International Mobility of Researchers of TBU in Zlín II

About the project:
The main goal of the project is to increase the quality of research at UTB. The arrival of foreign experts is expected to directly transfer foreign experience and skills to UTB and at the same time expand the qualifications of other R&D staff through active involvement in the implementation of R&D abroad. The Faculty of Technology, the Faculty of Management and Economics, the Faculty of Applied Informatics, the Faculty of Multimedia Communications and the University Institute will be involved in the project. The development and strengthening of cooperation with foreign organisations will also be supported synergistically.

Project Title: Implementation of the Regional Action Plan of Development of Education for the Territory of the Zlín Region II

About the project:
The main objective of the project entitled Implementation of the Regional Action Plan for the Development of Education in the Zlín Region II is to improve the quality of education in the Zlín Region in the key areas outlined in the Regional Action Plan for the Development of Education in the Zlín Region (polytechnic education, mathematical literacy, literacy, digital competences) and in combination with quality career counselling combined with activities to prevent early departures and the application of equal opportunities in education to increase the chances of graduates to find employment in the labour market. The activities of the FT aim to develop the educational competences of teaching staff in the primary/ secondary schools and to promote polytechnic education.

The implementation of the project (acquisition of state-of-the-art instrumentation, construction of specialised laboratory facilities) will enable the improvement of the existing educational infrastructure in order to ensure the high quality of the teaching provided by the Faculty of Science at UTB in Zlín. Students will thus be able to acquire quality and professional knowledge, expand practical skills and acquire personal qualities required by the labour market. Consequently, this will expand the possibilities of their future employment.

Project Title: Research and development of a system for acquiring data to predict the speed of growth of children’s feet
