Research activities of The Faculty of Technology are focusing on basic and applied research.
The Research and development activities are realized within the institutes of the faculty and carried out by means of research projects and grant projects offered by the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic, by the Grant Agency of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic and by means of grant projects offered by the ministries of the government of the Czech Republic.
Furthermore Faculty cooperates with the scientific institutes at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in the instruction of students in Doctoral programmes.
Our faculty also cooperates with companies and institutions of the public sector and aims to achieve results applicable to production practice. The results of the research are primarily used in rubber industry, plastics industry, automotive industry, textile and food industry, health, agriculture and in the production of packaging materials, as well as in electrical and electronics industry.
